You are the Executor or Administrator for an estate. Or the Trustee. Or the Conservator.
And as such you are basically taking over someone else's life, walking in their shoes. You are probably managing money and perhaps cleaning out the house and dividing belongings among the family. You are making tough decisions every day. You are in charge, and it's a big responsibility.
In addition you are filing paperwork with the Circuit Court and the Commissioner of Accounts, which can be a confusing process. Who knew there would be so many deadlines, so many forms to fill out? All you want to do is take care of business for your father or mother, your sibling, or your friend. The amount of work involved is tremendous.
