About

Court Accountings LLC was founded in 2014 to provide support for all fiduciaries, those appointed by the Court (Executor, Administrator, Trustee, Conservator, or Guardian) and those acting as agents under Power of Attorney.  We specialize in preparing the inventories and accountings required by the Circuit Court, which are audited and approved by the Commissioner of Accounts.  At Court Accountings LLC we have developed the particular set of skills necessary to perform this exacting work in a cost-effective and timely manner.  We enjoy strong relationships with local Clerks of Court, Commissioners of Accounts, attorneys, and CPAs and get most of our clients from referrals.

Ann Hodges

Ann grew up in Virginia and attended Lawrence University in Appleton, Wisconsin, where she earned two degrees, a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance.  She lived in Door County, Wisconsin for almost twenty years before returning to Virginia in 2002, when she became Probate Auditor for the Commissioner of Accounts for Roanoke County and the City of Salem.  For seven years Ann audited approximately 500 accountings a year, experience that taught her to appreciate a well-constructed report. In 2009, Ann began preparing accountings in a freelance capacity, developing a reputation for accuracy and timeliness. She became known for her ability to account for complicated estates and is often called in after the accounting is past due to correct or create reports for the Commissioner of Accounts. In 2014, Ann began providing her services to fiduciaries directly or through their attorneys.
